2020 Hospital President Training Course
In order to promote the professional management ability of hospital directors, and transfer the advanced management experience and application achievements of those benchmarking enterprises into the practical work of our group and the hospitals, under the initiative of the Hospital President Committee of our group and in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the General Office, the 2020 Hospital President Training Class (University Station of Huawei Corp) was held by the Personnel and Education Department of our group from Nov. 17 to Nov. 19. More than 30 participants of this training included the general managers, hospital presidents, secretaries of the Party Committee and other hospital management personnel coming from 12 companies affiliated to Baoshihua group, principals of eight professional companies, as well as the relevant personnel from the Personnel and Education Department, Strategy and Planning Department and General Administration Department of our group.

As pointed out by Wang Yang at the opening ceremony, Baoshihua Medical Group is a medical group and platform established to undertake the socialized reform of hospitals affiliated to PetroChina. It is committed to the building of a “domestically leading and internationally well-known” medical brand of Baoshihua, which has turned into a leading medical group in China. We have actively built a giant health industry pattern covering the whole life cycle, thus realizing the coordination of the whole industry chain and providing all-round medical and health services. By entering Huawei Corp to learn in depth, our group hopes to forge and reshape its thinking pattern, knowledge structure and working mode in an all-round way, so as to gradually build its own core competitiveness.
Wang Yang pointed out that as a spirit representing the new era, Huawei Spirit symbolizes the spirit of the new era in the context of the great changes never seen in 100 years. It is hoped that our group can work with Huawei Corp to “establish a world of great harmony and and a community of common destiny for all mankind, by adhering to a mentality of, open-minded, neither servile nor overbearing”, and stimulate an extraordinary spirit of the new era in face of challenges and pressures.
With the improvement of the ability of middle and senior leaders of Baoshihua Group as its core and the management practice of Huawei Corp as the background, this training encompasses the construction of corporate culture, strategic management and human resource management.
During the three-day study, the trainees experienced Huawei's first-class innovation ability, advanced management process, excellent strategic implementation and its corporate culture by having a face-to-face communication with the teachers and experts of Huawei Corp. The trainees created a strong learning atmosphere by listening to the lectures carefully, proactively exchanging and posing questions, and sharing their learning experiences.

Forming a wall of group culture by summarizing and thinking after class
On the second day in the wake of the course, the 4th centralized meeting of the Hospital President Committee of Baoshihua Medical Group in 2020 was held, which was presided over by Wang Yang, the chairman of the Hospital President Committee.
The meeting focused on the study of the Annual Management Plan of Privately Owned Hospital, and put forward the implementation requirements on how to improve the management ability and medical quality and safety level of social medical institutions. First, improve the rules and regulations and further improve the management ability in accordance with relevant laws and regulations and the requirements of modern hospital management system. Second, practice in strict accordance with the law, standardize medical behavior, carry out diagnosis and treatment reasonably according to diagnosis and treatment guidelines and operation standards, so as to ensure medical quality and safety. Third, do a good job in the normalized prevention and control of COVID-19 by strengthening daily quality control and medical safety risk prevention, and further explore a long-term mechanism.
During the meeting, Chen Hongli, director of innovation and information department, had an in-depth exchange and discussion with the presidents on the application of innovation projects and the top-level planning and implementation path of the group's informatization construction.
Rich in content and profound in teaching, the training features a tight schedule of courses, which enabled the trainees experience the unique management mode, culture and core values of Huawei Corp. All the trainees expressed the will of transforming the theoretical knowledge into the ability to observe, analyze and solve problems, of thinking and planing for the major problems in the development of our group, and of understanding and analyzing problems with new vision, new thinking and new standards. They pledged to improve the management mode and operation efficiency of the group by turning the training achievements into practice, and also cultivate an excellent modern management team, accelerate the high-quality development of our group, and constantly make new achievements based on the development and change of the current situation.
